SKINCARE
SERUMS + CREAMS
High-value emulsions where stability, viscosity and sensory feel decide acceptance. Scrap avoidance and right-first-time dominate the business case.
- Emulson first
- Stabion close behind
SOLUTIONS
Serumon is sold against a loss, not a category. Shade holds, fill giveaway, scrapped emulsions, changeover hours, held inventory — pick the one your plant argues about every Monday and we instrument that.
Five agents, one runtime, one audit trail.
BY SEGMENT
SKINCARE
High-value emulsions where stability, viscosity and sensory feel decide acceptance. Scrap avoidance and right-first-time dominate the business case.
COLOR COSMETICS
Shade tolerance is the whole game. ΔE holds, re-shading passes and pigment cost per correction are the numbers on the wall.
HAIRCARE
High volume, thin margins, big fills. Giveaway at fractions of a gram per bottle compounds into a serious annual number.
SUN + PERSONAL
Regulated actives, tight uniformity requirements and unforgiving stability profiles across markets.
FRAGRANCE
Dosing precision, maceration control and pack decoration quality on premium presentations.
CDMO
High-mix, short-run, brand-owner audits. Changeover and cleaning validation eat the calendar; NPI speed wins the contract.
BY LOSS
Batches held or re-shaded over ΔE. Entry point: Shadera on the worst SKU family.
Mean fill above target to guarantee the minimum. Entry point: Fillix on the highest-volume line.
Scrap and re-work from drift in dosing, shear or temperature. Entry point: Emulson on one vessel.
Hours lost to sequence, cleaning and validation. Entry point: Twynex campaign optimisation.
Finished goods waiting on lab results. Entry point: Stabion predictive risk and evidence packs.
Defects and complaints reaching the market. Entry point: Shadera defect vision plus Stabion release.
BY ROLE
ECONOMIC BUYER
Owns batch quality, yield, giveaway, throughput and changeover. Wants autonomous, consistent, higher-yield production and a defensible ROI story.
CHAMPION
Owns compounding, emulsification, shade and filling process quality. Usually the person who has been asking for this for years.
APPROVER
Owns cosmetic quality, micro and stability safety, GMP (ISO 22716) and compliance evidence.
ENGAGEMENT
Batch value, SKU mix, line count, integration access and an executive mandate to cut a named loss. We disqualify sites honestly.
Edge nodes, connectors and tag validation on one vessel or line. Read-only. Typically four weeks.
Record the truth of your current performance while agents predict alongside your chemists and lab.
Recommend mode against the named metric, then a documented decision to expand, stay, or stop.
QUALIFICATION
| CRITERION | GOOD FIT | POOR FIT |
|---|---|---|
| SCALE | $30M–$20B revenue; multiple vessels and filling lines | Artisan or indie volume where losses are small in absolute terms |
| INTEGRATION | Existing compounding, filling, spectro and MES with API or OPC access | Sites unwilling to integrate line systems under security controls |
| MANDATE | Executive pressure to cut shade holds, giveaway or changeover | Exploratory interest with no owner and no budget line |
| DATA | Historian and lab data retained and retrievable | No retained telemetry and no baseline to measure against |
| INTENT | Willing to run a paid pilot against a hard metric | Looking for a horizontal dashboard rather than a system of action |
PILOT SHAPE
TYPICAL SHAPE; ACTUAL TIMELINES DEPEND ON BATCH FREQUENCY AND VALIDATION REQUIREMENTS.
THE ROOM
Show me shadow mode on one vessel for a quarter, against my own chemists, and I will tell you whether it earns write access.
Our shade matchers are the best in the building and there are four of them for thirty lines. That is the actual constraint.
Giveaway is the number nobody puts on a slide. It is a rounding error per jar and a budget line per year.
All customer scenarios on this site are composite and illustrative. Serumon is pre-revenue; performance figures are design-partner targets, not audited results.
ANTI-ICP
Serumon is a system of action wired into vessels and lines. That is a serious thing to install, and there are plants where it is the wrong quarter to do it.
We would rather disqualify early than run a pilot that cannot produce a clean number. If your losses are real but your telemetry is not retained, the honest first project is instrumentation — and we will say so.
DISQUALIFY EARLY
SOLUTIONS FAQ
No, but it shapes the deployment. Formula and shade data can be scoped per brand tenant and kept on site, with strict isolation between customers of the CDMO. Several of our design-partner conversations start exactly here.
Yes. Shadow mode is read-only by construction. You get prediction accuracy and a measured baseline without a single setpoint being written.
One product on one vessel or filling line, at $9,000 per month on the Line tier. That is deliberately small enough to fund from a plant budget.
Outcome components are attached to the workflows with the clearest measurement: shade holds, giveaway, changeover and yield. They are negotiated against the baseline recorded during the pilot, not against an industry benchmark.
NEXT STEP
Twenty minutes on your worst line is usually enough to tell whether Serumon should be in your plant this year.
